The HTC Pyramid is visiting T-Mobile/AT&T sometime this summer but not much is known about this Android 2.4 device. A 480 x 800 display display is seemed to be included and under that is a 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 768 MB of RAM while the back of the device is equipped with a 8 MP camera.
As per HTC tradition, all devices feature HTC’s trademark Sense UI and so will this new OS feature the same. Many of the users are still running on Android 2.3 but not all of them. This is a giant leap towards another OS for the HTC community.
Google Maps for Android received its update but not everyone knows the exact major feature. Whenever there is traffic in one place and we do not know another route, the GPS is the first target for us. Luckily if the GPS takes you to another place that also is full of traffic, this Android Google Maps reroutes around the congestion.
As you can see in the photo above, you also get streetview navigation, a feature that the Ovi Maps lack. The traffic data that this new feature uses is old and new enabling faster navigation from point A to point B. The sad part is that this feature is mainly available in Europe and North America.
China has known to do many great things. Their companies are known to win the hearts of many in the cell phone industry. What Nokia, HTC, Motorola and Apple did in a log period of time, Shanzhaiben did it in 2 months but added a QWERTY keyboard.
The picture makes it look like a smartphone, but the actual size of it can be told if you know the display size, a 10-inch-1024 x 600 display. To supply power to this display, a 3700mAh lithium-ion battery. The Nokia N8 has been beaten in the mass memory section. The Nokia N8 holds 16GB internal memory while this netbook has 160GB internal memory. This is one of the first netbook and Tablet put together to form a final netbook.
